when my brother told me that a girl from fairfield passed away, i didn't want to believe him. a fairfield girl? again? i was once a fairfield girl too & fairfield's still in my heart. then he said, mernel sniffed glue & jumped. i was shocked. i knew mernel, took her for orientation, she was certainly outgoing and cheerful, i knew things were going on, but THIS? no way. anyway, i just do hope she's gone to heaven. things will not be the same for her classmates & family. dear Lord, grant them peace and assurance.
