semakau is this offshore island in singapore that is at the southern side. it's considered to be beside pulau hantu and pulau bukom. you'll have to take this ferry to reach the island and haha, all of us were taking photos non-stop, especially eunice. she kept wanting me to take emo photos of her. haha. i remember scuba diving at pulau hantu and kinda freaked out underwater when i saw this huge crab on the rock. the instructor keep on pulling me towards the crab till i was face to face with it. anyway, it's one of the last resorts that singapore has left to ensure that all our rubbish is left there. it costs like $610million to build and it's for our rubbish. they are already onto cell 5 and there are like 6 more cells to go i think and this island is supposed to last to keep ALL our rubbish till 2040. after which, they may turn it into a golf course for the RICH. do you know that there's like a reception hall for rubbish?! haha.
we first attended this presentation at the meeting room. sat on those LUXURIOUS meeting chairs at a really proper MEETING TABLE. i estimated the total cost of the chairs and the HUGE table to be like $9000 plus. i know that really good chairs and a table can cost till $33000. some people did not appreciate the talk and fell asleep. i find it highly interesting about the facts AND the funny way the person talked. haha. he meant dollars and cents but instead it was pronounced lollars and sense. i laughed my head off. then, shawn ching kept on irritating the presenter, asking him nonsensical questions that were quite funny to me but irritating to others.
next was a tour around the island. we squeezed into this small bus and went for the tour. there was this tour guide called mr yewand the bus driver was also mr yew. -_-" anyway, we stopped at this really scenic spot to take photos. everybody is a cam-whore at heart. truly agree with me.

had physics tuition today. what my teacher said today was quite inspiring. i'm worried about the exams. had mole concept lesson. the most important thing is to find: mole. and that's it. he told me his story. i think today, i looked dazed to him. anyway, dinner.
