UB WEEK 4

well, today's the 2nd day of the 4th week of school.

& i'm glad to say that it's been reaaaally fun! :DDD HAHAHAHA,with the exception of those 4 projects & boring teachers.

bumped into wenjun & qihui in school today! it's amazing how like you haven't spoken or seen the person in quite awhile & then still be able to talk so much. been seeing quite a lot of pioneers around lately.

& i'm probably like one of the blur-est person around, still getting lost sometimes, not knowing what the teacher wants & also group mates, cause there's so much overlapping of the people

if you've a phobia of blood or cracked nails, don't scroll any further cause, one fine day, when i was ALMOST reaching home, i just HAD TO bump into this fat malay kid with FATS OF STEEL, & this happened. FML -.-

i practically wanted to yell at the kid, but upon looking at his chubby face & huge eyes, i relented. my nail snapped like a toothpick, you could seriously hear it go 'SNAP!'

i had to cut the 'excess' nail off first, remove the nail polish, & then cut again. )))): i have fugly nails nowwwww.

okay, haven't really the time to blog now. school timetable is slack, really, but i'm also occupied with readings & stuff. communication homework is the most time consuming. i'm supposed to be doing a comm essay now as well. & shits to the psy quiz today ): oh yeah, one of our homework, is to set up a blog based on what we learn, exciting right? -.- anyway,

21km was AWESOMEEEE. safra bay run and army half marathon 2010! YUPP :D i ran 21km. it honestly wasn't tiring but the pain in my knees was becoming unbearable from 15km onwards. i'm quite happy with my timing toooo :D thanks to joanna & jonathan! MANY LOVES TO YOU TWO BOTH. joanna for her encouragement & jonathan for rushing ahead to get for us 100plus & water at the waterpoints.

2nd week

my sua-ku-ness that I had for week 1 of school will stop. I am smarter & more enlightened as of the last day of week 1

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

yayy,the good thing is that I made many new friends,haha,but I wonder how many would last. so now at least during lectures & breaks,I have people to talk to :DD & not as lonely as like the first & second day of school.

don't really know what cca to join yet )): I'm quite certain on doing muaythai but I recently found out that they train somewhere in kallang -.- HELP. I didn't want canoeing or dragonboating cause they train at kallang & it's really far to go home

heehee,I'm currently studying the communication textbook at work. soooo hardworking. zzz. probably will have to complete that English 1 paragraph essay at work as well. zzz. feeling quite tired & I want food.

lemme see what I've learnt by reading the past few minutes:
- communication was known as rhetoric,also known as study of effective speaking & writing & the people whom are proficient in that are known as rhetorics
- these rhetorics usually use pathos (appealing to emotion),ethos (appealing to character) & logos (appealing to relativity of content) which are part of the five canons of rhetorics,as to how the people win over the audience.
- the five canons of rhetoric are invention,style,arrangement,memory & delivery.
- there are 4 periods of communication: classical,medieval,modern & contemporary
- classical period had famous people like Plato,Socrates & Aristotle
- medieval period had famous people like Augustine
- modern period had famous people like francis bacon & Rene Descartes

yayy me! this was done without referring to my book,with the exception of spelling of those names. 8 more pages to goooo!
