JAPANTRIP

i'm finally back!
got lots to say but too lazy.

all these photos are like in random order. i can't remember what happened on what day cause time passes SO VERY QUICKLY.
i must say that my sister was clinging onto me during the whole trip. also, i'm SICK OF JAPANESE FOOD. i've enough of sushi, tempuras, sticky rice, rice, seaweed... so, think twice before asking me out for a japanese meal :)
the tour group consisted of about 30 people. there were so many kids! 2 elderly only! yes! 2 others my age! another girl older! and my brother! the 2 others my age were both guys, one's from ngeeann sec & the other woodlands sec. psst. i didn't get any jap guys. i prefer koreans :) haha. in japan, everywhere you go, there are couples everywhere! mostly those high school couples! in japan, whether the guy is handsome or not, doesn't matter, only the looks of the girls do! haha.
i think i look fat in some pictures cause i wearing so many freakin' layers of clothes! up to 5 i tell you! (sometimes) that's only the top la. for bottoms, i just wear jeans. Jeans are quite good materials&it kinda keeps my legs warm against the cold.
this Japan tour, i had to stay in like 5 hotels for 7 days! kept moving&moving&moving. the tour guide, Daniel, kept on telling us that we need not worry about our luggage, the bus driver would handle it. poor bus driver, Shinamura, almost everyday he would lift out bags&take them out.

this photo: universal studios, seems like san fransico right? but it's not.

this photo: my dad& mum under the ginko tree

this photo: my sis&me. no, we're not in san fransico. that statue of liberty behind was a gift from the USA to Japan. the bridge behind is definitely not the Golden Gate Bridge, it's known as the rainbow bridge. you must be thinking, rainbow? it's white! the Japanese call the bridge the Rainbow bridge cause it connects to a town called Palette Town. -_-" it's called Palette Town cause there's a freaking large ferris wheel painted in rainbow colours. Palette Town reminds me of Palette TOwn in that pokemon game.

this photo: a typical train ticket. i have no idea as to how to read the words.

this photo: this train station is caleed Nijo, also known as liang tiao, NOT ER TIAO. weird huh? the words also on the board, tambaguchi makes me think of tamagotchi, tamba, and Gucci. tamagotchi being the little eggshaped game. tamba being allicia's monkey toy and Gucci. Gucci makes me think of Burberry. & Japan has this unique Burberry label called Blue Label and it's only available in Japan. Yes, there's a Pink Label and Black Label. But Blue Label is exclusive for Japan. my mother almost bought a bag from there as the Burberry in Japan is cheaper than in Singapore.

this photo: my sweet sister, vanessa, in a kimono. i cannot stand it, SHE'S TOO CUTE!! kawaii! (as the Japanese says)

this photo: me on two giant wooden clogs.

this photo: E.T & Elmo. i like ELMO! btw, one of the hotels i stayed in kept playing the same stupid E.T show for two whole days!

this photo: during the disneyland parade, this float carried SIX people. 3 of which were the disney princesses, and the other 3 were their princes. there was Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. where's JASMINE?? i like her the best!! :)

this photo: i've finally managed to do those kind of closeup shots that eunice soh always does. i ENVY her. i think this shot can be further improved by somehow getting closer and more light. i didn't dare to go any closer cause i'm afraid it'll bite. at first the spider looked pretty small, till i zoom&went closer, my hand was shaking. the picture in my camera was frightening for me. i can't blame the light. the sun's setting and there's always clouds. it's end-autumn and everyone hopes those clouds mean snow clouds. I'VE YET TO SEE REAL SNOW!!

this photo: this is my brother&our tour group leader, Daniel Chan. He's from Hongkong and came to Japan where i think that's where he met his wife. He's been in Japan for like 20 plus years. look at the two guys hairstyles!

this photo: on a boat to odaiba. super cold. with the wind blowing and making my fringe go messy... i love my shades! plan to get more!! :)

this photo: in tokyo disneyland, it's so FREAKING crowded, not with tourists, but with Japanese people. my family stood in line for almost 3 hours just to see MICKEY MOUSE. you must be thinking why queue in the first place, the reason is because it's the shortest. -_-" other queues can go up to 4 hours. the fastest ones can range from 45mins to 90mins. i love my crumpler.

this photo: the japan tour group of hongthai. all wearing kimonos. forced to wear by the tour guide. surprisingly, everyone was a good sport! all wearing! i can be found in the second row, 2nd from the right.

this photo: sigh. universal studios japan. it's a much better place than tokyo disneyland. universal studios can be found in osaka. i went to shinjuku too. it's the redlight district in tokyo! that's where you can find those gays, prositutes...& the best place for shopping. it's like orchard road mixed with geylang. on the outside, you may see that the shops in shinjuku are like freaking small, but no, they have basements.

this photo: ah yes. the leaves of autumn. the reddish, brownish, orangish, yellowish leaves. that fall in fall. so unique, each & everyone of them. SO BEAUTIFUL ;)

this photo: ah yes. another close up shot. by the way, all these photos were in 5 megapixels. i was using my new 8.1 megapixel camera but i needed space, storage, memory, so i decreased to 5m. 8m would only allow the 2gb camera little pictures.

this photo: i like this the best! it's a tree.

this photo: daisies. took this on my last day in japan, osaka. i love japan!

this photo: look at the trees! in singapore, it'll be green all year. in a few days or a week, those trees would be barren. they would have shed all their leaves.

this photo: tokyo disneyland. i think this monkey was from the show pocahatas? or tarzan? it looks like a duck too. my father loved this monkey. he started monkey business.

this photo: me in mickey's house.

this photo: nat, me and my sister. this shot was taken in pinghe gongyuan, in english, peace park.

this photo: the fantastic Mt. Fuji. it was SO COLD up there. the winds were blowing and the weather was so unpredictable. it would be sunny one moment, cloudy the next.

this photo: i hated this place. SO CROWDED. only then, when i truly realised what was packed like tuna.

this photo: going to board the bullet train. i love my crumpler bag :) the bullet train is SO FAST, but you can't feel the enormousity of the speed when you're in the train.

this photo: the chinese like to predict their future, so these boxes contain those divination lots after you shake shake the box then something drops out.

this photo: my sis&me on the train by which the japanese call it "the romantic train". i understand why. the atmosphere in the train when it passes the autumn coloured trees, just feels so GOOD!

this photo: me, vanessa&the macho man who acted as the villian in the waterworld show. he's so trying to act cute :) waterworld can be found in universal studios japan!

this photo: a kimono show in tokyo i think. some of the girls were real pretty and some old. i like the girl 3rd from the right. the kimonos she modelled all suited her bubbly nature.

this photo: my sister just loves udon!

this photo: tokyo disneyland! it was so crowded!

this photo: joseph stlaniski's invention for a mailbox. this is from the show, honey!i shrunk the kids!

this photo: my sister.

this photo: me&one of the three little pigs. i favourite-d this pig as he was the unique one out of the three. he was the only one with eyebrows like that.

this photo: ooh look! that little island somewhere in the middle of all the sea.
